Taiwan roars in front of three rival Asian Tigers in survey on happiness

TAIPEI – Taiwan scored highest among the Four Asian Tigers – the other three being Hong Kong, Singapore and South Korea – with 75 per cent of Taiwanese saying they enjoy “positive emotions,” according to a recently released Gallup survey. The world’s happiest people aren’t in Qatar, the richest country by most measures.
