SANA’A, Oct. 20 — Yemeni troops are locked in a ‘guerrilla war’ with Al-Qaeda militants sheltering in villages in the south of the country, a commander said on Tuesday. “We are engaged in what amounts to a guerrilla war with Al-Qaeda,” the deputy head of security in the Abyan province town of Mawdia, Colonel Mohamed al-Khodr told AFP on Tuesday.
