Is S’pore tourism in trouble?

SINGAPORE – Singapore’s visitor arrivals dropped 9.7 percent in November compared with the same period last year, as a worsening global economic climate crimped demand for travel, the country’s tourism agency said on Friday. The Singapore Tourism Board said visitor arrivals fell to 760,000 in November from 841,648 visitors last year.
